Figros was born and developed into one of the most beautiful and evocative Italian landscapes. Our headquarters in Barberino di Mugello, although in an ideal position from a logistical and service point of view, is also immersed in the unmistakable charm of the Tuscan countryside. It is precisely from the beauty of this extraordinary landscape that we have learned to respect the environment, enhancing the green soul of metals with production choices inspired by sustainability.

PRODUCTION AND ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Having the latest generation machines is a strategic choice not only in terms of quality, but also in terms of environmental sustainability. The technologies used by Figros, the result of careful and far-sighted investments, allow with their efficiency both to optimize production and reduce the environmental impact, further reduced thanks to the installation of a photovoltaic system of over 500KW and the commitment to purchase only electricity from renewable sources.
Added to this is the advantage given by the intrinsic characteristics of zamak, a material used in die casting: being a low-melting alloy – a temperature of 400 ° C is "sufficient" to melt it – thus already requiring a lower energy expenditure than other metals.

METALS - DURABLE AND RECYCLABLE
Metals, sustainable by nature as they are used to produce durable objects, also have the advantage of being infinitely recyclable – unlike, for example, plastic materials, which tend to degrade over time. Figros enhances this characteristic of the raw material by always using between 50% and 90% of recycled material and recovering 100% of the production waste and reintroducing them into the production process, obviously not before having them again subjected to analyses that certify their safety and performance.

UNI ENI ISO 14001 CERTIFICATION
Figros' commitment to the environment is confirmed by the UNI ENI ISO 14001:2015 certification, obtained and confirmed from year to year, to reaffirm the correspondence of our production processes to the most stringent international standards on environmental management systems.
